Afterparty is a rather unique game in its execution that proudly belongs to the adventure quest genre on Mac. Here you take control of two characters at once – a young woman and a young man, alongside whom you will journey into the very heart of Hell, where something absolutely unthinkable and utterly insane is taking place around every corner.

Everywhere you look, devils and demons roam about, doing nothing but drinking the strongest alcoholic beverages of the highest proof imaginable. The storyline tells us about how fate dealt a rather unfortunate hand to these two inseparable companions. The thing is, our heroes always had a great fondness for loud parties and drinking, so they spent all of their spare time hanging out in bars and all sorts of seedy taverns and dives across the city.

During their last outing of this kind, a terrible misfortune befell them and they lost their lives, subsequently finding themselves trapped in Hell. Now they desperately want to return home as quickly as possible, but as it turns out, finding a way out of this accursed place is not nearly as simple as one might hope. There is only one single way to leave Hell – and that is a brutal and completely insane drinking competition against the Devil himself. If you want to experience this afterparty game on your Mac, prepare for a wild narrative ride through the underworld.

Deus Ex: Mankind Divided

The events of the futuristic stealth-action title Deus Ex: Mankind Divided unfold in an alternate future where humanity has been split into two opposing camps. On one side stand ordinary unaugmented people, and on the other – individuals who have resorted to mechanical augmentations in order to enhance their bodies and acquire new superhuman abilities. The latter group has been rejected by the former and turned into outcasts, forced to survive under the oppressive rule of the so-called "naturals." The hero of this Mac game is a man named Adam Jensen – a person whose body is roughly half composed of advanced prosthetics and sophisticated modules. According to the plot, the protagonist joins a resistance movement and becomes a covert agent whose primary mission is to get as close as possible to the enemy, represented by a powerful megacorporation, and to uncover a staggering worldwide conspiracy.

The game positions itself as a stealth-action title, conceptually oriented toward stealthy gameplay and covert progression through missions. However, players are by no means forbidden from completing missions head-on, so to speak, by going in guns blazing and fighting openly. Compared to Deus Ex: Human Revolution, the artificial intelligence of enemies in Mankind Divided has become significantly more advanced, and the protagonist's arsenal has been expanded with new capabilities – in particular, using a special built-in module, Jensen can scan enemies and remotely breach electronic systems from a considerable distance.

True connoisseurs of stealth-oriented playthroughs may risk missing out on the retractable nano-blade and the subdermal "Titan" armor set. These two particular upgrades were designed specifically for open combat encounters and direct confrontations. The implants allow the player to shape Adam Jensen into a fighter tailored to their own preferred playstyle on Mac. Meanwhile, fans of the methodical stealth approach can equip the protagonist's body with a built-in arm-mounted "Tesla" shock cannon, which after a series of sequential upgrades can incapacitate up to four enemies simultaneously.
